James "Jimmy" Keshishian was the 2nd generation of the Mark Keshishian & Sons Oriental Rug Company in Chevy Chase, MD. He was a senior appraiser in the American Society of Appraisers and collected inscribed Armenian rugs. He is followed by his son Mark Samson Keshishian, who is also a well credited appraiser and a part of the legacy Jimmy left behind with his store in Chevy Chase, MD. The Keshishians are well known in the Washington DC area for servicing and selling oriental rugs to The White House, the embassies & other upscale establishments.
